The Knik Tribe shares information on Drug Endangered Children (DEC): children at risk of enduring emotional or physical harm due to a caregiver's involvement with legal or illegal drugs, or whose caregiver's substance abuse interferes with providing a safe environment. Did you know that 1 in 4 children live with a caregiver who has a substance use disorder? Children are often the first-impacted and the last to receive help.

A flyer from the Knik Tribe titled "Drug Endangered Children (DEC)." The graphic defines a DEC as a child at risk of enduring emotional or physical harm due to a caregiver's drug involvement or whose caregiver's substance abuse interferes with a safe environment. A "Did You Know?" section states that 1 in 4 children live with at least one caregiver with a substance use disorder. The flyer includes an image of children's hands reaching up with the text "Help. Hope. Support." and the website www.nationaldec.org.
