The Knik Tribe Social Services Department is dedicated to supporting the well-being of our community through a variety of programs and services. We are here to assist with Childcare and Assistance, Elders Support, Elders Meal, Family Contact, Victims of Crime Outreach Support, Family Culture Nights, Talking Circles, Advocacy and Case Management, and Parenting Classes.

 

Our Services Include:

• Childcare and Assistance: Helping families access resources and support for quality childcare.

• Elders Support and Elders Meal: Offering programs and meals to promote the well-being and connection of our Elders.

• Family Contact: Facilitating opportunities to strengthen and maintain family relationships.

• Victims of Crime Outreach Support: Providing compassionate outreach and case management for victims of crime, tailored to individual needs.

• Family Culture Nights: Creating spaces for families to celebrate and learn about cultural traditions together.

• Wellness Talking Circles: Offering guided discussions that foster connection, healing, and personal growth.

• Advocacy and Case Management: Providing one-on-one support to help navigate resources and overcome challenges.

• Parenting Classes: Empowering parents with tools for fostering positive relationships, understanding emotional needs, and integrating cultural values into parenting practices.
